Kelme’s design team has come up with the world’s most expensive football boot, made from shark skin. A limited run of 501 pairs will be sold for €500 each and will be entirely produced in Spain, using up to 90 percent shark skin. Kelme has a specific design team to come up with high-end limited series of products for the brand. The boot, which also uses kangaroo skin on the heel, is said to be more resistant to wet conditions than the average boot, and will reduce water friction by 75 percent. The boots are numbered from 0 to 500 and number 0 will be worn by Dani Güiza, a well-known football player from Mallorca.
