Kent Wheeler, a longtime executive in the golf industry, has been appointed director of sales and marketing for the golf division of Etonic Worldwide, which is based near Boston and takes care of the brand’s golf business in North America. Wheeler joined from Nickent, and he has a track record of 17 years in the golf business with companies from Mizuno to Srixon. Etonic’s golf business in all other parts of the world is supervised by Fraser Dunsmore, category manager golf, based at the head office of Lotto Sport, the Italian company that acquired Etonic at the end of 2006. A former European sales manager at Ashworth, Dunsmore switched to Etonic about two years ago and is supervising the introduction of a revamped Etonic golf footwear range around Europe this year.
