Löffler is the first Austrian company to have been awarded the STeP certifcate of Oeko-Tex for its sustainable textile production. The company, which belongs to the Fischer group, produces more than 1.3 million pieces each year, exporting about two-thirds to Germany, Switzerland, Italy and other countries. Around 70 percent of all the materials processed by Löffler come from its knitting mill in Ried, which also takes care of one-third of all the sewing work. The balance is mainly done by partners in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria.
