Laird Hamilton, the legendary big-wave waterman, has developed a line of surf and surf-inspired clothing for surfing and stand-up paddling, including neoprene suits, boardshorts and lifestyle and training products, according to shopeatsurf.com. It is being launched on his website in October, with a bigger collection to follow for retail sales next spring. Holding most of the shares in his company, he has been working on the project with a couple of partners and several investors. Tim Garrett, who has been formerly with Globe International, O'Neill and Lost, is acting as president and general manager of the company. The 51-year-old Hamilton has been also partnering with Nidecker since 2012 on his own brand of stand-up paddles, called Laird StandUp.
