Lars Oolberg has been appointed to a new position as chief operating officer of Rapala VMC. He will be in charge of all its businesses except Russia, Japan and the Hooks division of the group, which handles manufacturing of fishing hooks. These other operations will report directly to Jussi Ristimäki, the chief executive of the group. A member of the executive committee since 2008, he has been in charge of the accessory division and of the group's distribution in China and Korea for the past four years.
