Le Coq Sportif, a French sports apparel and footwear brand, has launched a limited edition of running shoes labeled “Made in France.” The three models are available in the national colors – blue, white and red. The shoes are made of full-grain or nubuck leather, with ornamental trimmings such as perforated branding and tri-color tongue detailing. The limited edition is available in Le Coq Sportif stores, on the brand's online store and at selected retailers worldwide. Following the success of its first French-made edition of the Arthur Ashe shoe model last year, the brand decided to make more sneakers in its home country. The shoes are designed in the company's office in Paris and manufactured in workshops owned by Cléon in Cholet.
