It is ITA’s first-ever partnership with a commercial sportswear brand.
Swiss sportswear brand On has partnered with the International Testing Agency (ITA) to provide its athletes with complementary doping controls and anti-doping education. This collaboration marks the first-ever partnership between the ITA and a commercial sportswear brand.
The ITA is an independent anti-doping organization constituted as a not-for-profit foundation, based in Lausanne. It manages anti-doping programs, independent from sporting or political powers, for International Federations (IFs), Major Event Organizers (MEOs) and other anti-doping organizations requesting support.
Through this partnership, the ITA will oversee anti-doping efforts for On’s triathlon athletes, leveraging its existing collaboration with World Triathlon and within the framework of the World Triathlon Anti-Doping Rules, as well as the World Anti-Doping Code and all relevant International Standards. For On athletes competing in other disciplines, additional anti-doping measures will be implemented in cooperation with the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU), an independent body created by World Athletics that manages integrity issues, both doping and non-doping, for the sport of athletics.
