US Olympic champion Bode Miller´s ski brand has collapsed amid debt & allegations of mismanagement.

The high-profile ski venture Peak Ski Company, launched in 2021 by Olympic gold medalist Bode Miller and seasoned resort executive Andy Wirth, has reportedly collapsed just three years after its much-hyped debut. The Montana-based company, which once aimed to revolutionize ski manufacturing, is now facing accusations of mismanagement, unpaid debts to athletes and contractors, and broken promises.

The Montana-based ski manufacturer, founded in 2021 by Bode Miller and Andy Wirth, closed this month due to mounting debts and operational challenges.

Bode Miller, the company’s former Chief Innovation Officer, blamed the company’s downfall on high operational costs and broken investor promises. In an email to The Colorado Sun, Miller said there was no way to keep up the monthly spending, and that the company was in debt from problems in the first year. He also said that while some investors had promised money, they didn’t give it, which led to the shutdown of most parts of the company.
