Leif Holst-Liæker will take over as chief executive of Bergans Fritid, the supplier of outdoor products known also as Bergans of Norway, during the fourth quarter of 2015. Holst-Liæker, 36, worked for five years at McKinsey & Company and then for eight years in various functions at Bertel O. Steen, a diversified Norwegian conglomerate whose holdings include Viking Footwear. He acted as managing director of Viking for five years and then as managing director of Bertel O. Steen Holding and Bertel O. Steen Invest.  Holst-Liæker will take the place of Ragnar Jensen, who is now 70 years old. Jensen joined Bergans in 1981 and became its CEO in 1991. He will keep a minority stake in the company and keep his seat on Bergans' board of directors, which has been led by Martin Kössler since last year.
