Leki has signed up Ted Ligety, a downhill ski champions who has claimed 24 victories and 49 podiums in World Cup competitions. A native of Park City, Utah, he won gold medals at the 2006 Olympics in Turin and the 2014 Olympics in Tokyo. Ligety will race with Leki's Trigger S grip system, described as the world's first “ski pole binding” quick-release system. Leki is already an official supplier to the U.S. Ski Team.
