Liebaert is expanding into the activewear and athleisure segments for the first time with its new NanoStitch Comfort Technology line of fabrics. This collection of high-performance fabrics integrates Lycra Sport technology. Founded in 1887 and headquartered in Belgium, Liebaert is best known for its manufacturing in the intimate apparel sector. In 1965, Liebaert became one of the first fabric mills in the world to knit Lycra fiber. The new NanoStitch collection features three different offerings: Active, Air and Extreme. Active is conceived for garments that require great breathability, four-way stretch and limited compression without constriction, such as running gear, yoga pants and underwear. Air focuses on the fabric's lightness, soft touch, light compression and “second-skin” feel. Extreme is described as offering maximum compression and premium comfort, and has been developed to help optimize athletic performance.
