Liverpool FC is suing Reebok for an alleged two-month delay in getting its away football jerseys to the market before the beginning of the 2005-06 football season, which the football club says cost it a substantial amount. Seeking £7 million (€10.4m-$13.1m) in damages, the club will lock horns with Reebok in London’s Royal Courts of Justice in a trial that is expected to last for several months. Reebok has notoriously had problems with the Liverpool jersey line, and its contract with the British club was transferred earlier this year to Adidas.
