LK International, the Swiss-based company behind the Kjus line of sports apparel, has reorganized its design, product development and marketing functions. They are all supervised now by Nico Serena, the 34-year-old son of Didi Serena, owner of the company, who was previously in charge only of product and design. He is taking responsibility for marketing from Daniel Schaffo, who left the company last May. Furthermore, LK's product manager, Urs Egli, will continue to act under him as general product manager, but with a stronger focus on innovation. He will work with Pär Westerlind, who is joining the company from Odlo to focus on product development for Kjus' new golf apparel line. Westerlind had left the New Wave Group to work with Odlo at the beginning of 2012 on its cross-country ski and cycling apparel.
