Lotto and 1. FSV Mainz 05, the German Bundesliga club, have announced that they are resuming their former collaboration with a new sponsorship agreement. Starting from the 2015-16 season, and for five years, Lotto Sport Italia will become technical sponsor and official supplier to all the Mainz teams, including the youth teams, providing kit and accessories for all official matches, training and official appearances. The German football team had worn Lotto's designs from 2001 to 2008. Since then Mainz was sponsored by Nike until the new deal with the Italian sportswear company.
