Lotto Sport Italia has appointed a new “head of communication and digital sales,” following the departure of Alberto Fraticelli, the former brand manager of Ferrari, after eight years with the company. His name is Stefano Taboga. He comes from the Luxottica Group, where he acted as global digital and omnichannel director for its Sunglass Hut chain of sunglass stores. Taboga gained experience at the Generali insurance group, Wolters Kluver and Lycos before serving as head of digital marketing at Diesel between 2008 and 2014. At Lotto, he will run the company's new “digital sales division,” bolstering its e-commerce operations and the brand's presence online and in the social networks. He will report directly to Andrea Tomat, president of the company.
