Lotto Sport Italia has signed a licensing agreement with a new partner for the Australian market, Allied Sporting Products Pty, replacing United Sports. Located at Nundah near Brisbane, the company was distributing Asics before the Japanese company set up its own subsidiary in the country. It still sells Rider shoes and has its own brand of accessories for fitness and rugby, called Madison Sport. The five-year deal will be effective on Jan. 1, 2013, covering manufacturing and distribution of the entire Lotto collection including performance, leisure and fashion products. The new partner is set to target all relevant retail channels including specialty shops, sporting goods chains and e-commerce.
