Lotto Sport Italia has signed a technical sponsorship agreement with the Liquigas Team in a move designed to associate its name with bike racing. Filippo Pozzato and other members of this major Italian bike racing team will wear technical after-race materials, clothing, footwear and accessories under the Lotto brand throughout 2007. They will also wear the company’s latest running shoe, the Syn-Pulse. Separately, Lotto has extended its sponsorship deal with the Borussia Mönchengladbach football team in Germany until 2013, instead of waiting for its expiration in 2008.
