Lotto Sport Italy and the Genoa Cricket and Football Club, commonly referred to as Genoa, have signed a new partnership agreement for the next four years, until June 30, 2016. Lotto becomes the technical sponsor and official supplier for Genoa's main team, the youth teams and its school of football, as well as its supplier of clothing and accessories for official competitions, training and promotional occasions. The new agreement replaces Genoa's previous one with Asics. The new kits were officially unveiled by the club at a dedicated event among the piers of Genoa's fair area on July 4. Thomas Degasperi, world water skiing champion in 2007 and 2011, appeared from the sea wearing the new red-blue shirt of the team. The first shirt, with the club's classic division alternating four red and blue quarters, features a distinguishing 3D-effect team crest. Under the crest, the shirt reads for the first time ever “Il Club più antico d'Italia” (the oldest club in Italy), to call to attention Genoa's special birthright in Italy's football history. The second shirt features a total white style and a horizontal strip with the club's colors.
