Lowa is presenting a new winter boot for the next autumn/winter season, saying that its function is similar to that of winter tires, which are mandatory for driving cars in certain circumstances. The new Lowa Wintersole incorporates a special Vibram G Elika Ice outsole whose design resembles that of ice chains. Textile applications are integrated into the rubber to create extra grip on wet and icy grounds. The mid-sole features two PU compounds for insulation and cushioning.
