Lululemon Athletica has appointed Stuart Haselden as its new chief financial officer, with an expected start date of Feb. 2. He will replace John Currie, the company's long-time finance chief, who announced in June that he was planning to retir. Haselden will report to the company's chief executive officer, Laurent Potdevin. Haselden has served as chief financial officer and executive vice president at J. Crew Group since 2012 and brings to Lululemon 15 years of executive leadership experience. From 2009 to 2012, he served as J. Crew's senior vice president of finance and treasurer, and served as vice president of financial planning & analysis from 2006 to 2009. Before joining J. Crew, he worked at Saks Inc. as the vice president of strategic planning. Haselden's commitment to physical fitness is rooted in his experience as a U.S. Army officer.
