Lululemon Athletica is making use of Mylo, an alternative leather material, for a yoga mat and detailing on two bags. Mylo, produced by Bolt Threads, is made with mycelium, the vegetative part of a fungus, found in mushroom roots. The Canadian sportswear company said that it would be producing new items with the mycelium-based material in October. The products wil be available for purchase in early 2022.
