Löpplabbet, the Norwegian offshoot of the big Swedish chain of running stores with a similar name, booked a pre-tax profit of 4.6 million Norwegian kroner (€0.6m-$0.8m) last year on a 25 percent sales increase to 49 million NOK (€6.1m-$8.3m). It now has eight running specialty stores in the country.
