Italian teamwear brand Macron has announced the appointment of Angelo Marino as its new Chief Communications Officer. Most recently, Marino served as Global Head of Brand and Corporate Communications at Ducati, where he was also part of the team behind the global relaunch of the Ducati Scrambler brand. In his new role at Macron, Marino is charged with expanding communication and marketing activities while contributing to the company’s next stage of growth, Macron said in a statement.
Macron supplies kits to more than 90 professional clubs and national teams. Around 80 percent of its revenues come from exports. Macron also has a network of 160 mono-brand stores. Founded in 1971, the company is headquartered in Bologna, in Emilia Romagna, the region that calls itself the Italian Sport Valley due to the organization of major national and international events, the promotion of healthy lifestyles combined with tourism, and the presence of the Motor Valley, with the headquarters of companies like Ducati, Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and more.
Marino served as a member of the board of directors of the Motor Valley Coordinating Committee from 2019 to October 2023, as per his LinkedIn profile.
