Macron is taking the place of Lotto as sponsor of a Spanish football club, RC Deportivo de la Coruña. The deal with this 110-year-old club will last for four years through the 2020-21 playing season. The contract raises to 47 the number of professional clubs sponsored by Macron. The Italian company booked a turnover of €70 million in 2016, amounting to a 6 percent increase from the previous year.
