Major Sports will handle sales of its Tecnifibre line of products in the German market directly from its head office in France. By mutual agreement, Major will part ways with MTS Sportartikel Vertriebs as its German distributor, after 25 years of collaboration. Mark Holldorf, who worked for Tecnifibre at MTS, will act as sales and marketing manager for Germany, with a showroom in Munich, reporting to Mathieu Carriere, export manager of Major Sports. The change will place the entire range of Tecnifibre's products at the disposal of German clients, including its textile collection. As previously reported, Lacoste Holding took over control of Major Sports in October as its founder, Thierry Maissant, retired.
