Manchester City has announced that Hugo Boss will become the exclusive fashion and clothing partner of its first team, for an undisclosed amount. The German brand will design the player's club suits, worn during official Manchester City engagements and cup finals. The deal is limited to off-pitch apparel only, as City struck a longterm deal with Nike in May which will see its players wear Nike's jerseys on the pitch until 2019. Manchester City won the Premiere League in 2012 and has recently been seen as aiming to substantially expand its commercial arm.
