Marchon Eyewear has set up a new sales division that will be focusing only on servicing the sporting goods sector in the Europe,Middle Eastand Africa (EMEA) region. It will notably handle sales of performance sunglasses and snow goggles for its long-standing Nike Vision license, as well as action sports sunglasses and snow goggles under the recently acquired Dragon Alliance brand. A young and dynamic dedicated team will be run by Gunther Hermann, who has over 20 years of experience in sporting goods distribution and has held several senior positions within the American group. Craig Smith, who has worked as Dragon's U.K.brand development manager for the past six years, will become EMEA sales and marketing manager for Dragon. Eric Brendel, who has been for 12 years in the action sports and sporting goods sector, will join the team as EMEA sales and marketing manager for Nike Vision in the sporting goods retail channel.
