Marcos Garzo, vice president and general manager of Nike Iberia, sees his responsibilities extended to the Italian market, where he is taking the place of Andrea Rossi, the longtime Italian country manager of the Swoosh. Garzo will work in Italy with his sales manager for Spain and Portugal, Ignacio Serrat, who replacing Roberto Passerini as the Italian organization's senior sales manager. Garzo, who has been with Nike since 1995, became general manager of Nike Iberia in August 2010. He previously worked for Nike Europe in various roles, including that of retail brand presentation director. Nike is planning to appoint a new sales manager for Iberia to take the place of Serrat, who has been with the company in various sales functions since 2002.
