Drawing data from the SEO software producer Sistrix, CMDsport has once again ranked the top ten e-commerce sites for e-bikes in Spain. The surprise this time around is that two local operations, Biciescapa.com and Bicimarket.com, have knocked Amazon.es down two pegs. Meanwhile, Decathlon.es has retained its top spot by a comfortable margin.
Biciescapa and Bicimarket both gained ground, but Amazon lost it, passing over the course of a year from 6,126 to 3,498 estimated monthly clicks.
Ebike.es has for the first time cracked not only the top ten but the top five. The two other newcomers are Elcorteingles.es and Momabikes.co. Buhobike, Canyon and Trekbikes, on the other hand, have dropped off the list.
By Sistrix’s estimate, the (literally translated) search term “electric bicycle” generated 74,000 monthly clicks this past May. The general term “bicycle” generated 41,000.
