Arsenal and Emirates have extended their shirt sponsorship deal through 2033, the club and the airline announced Aug. 6. Emirates is to maintain its position on the front of Arsenal’s shirt, its supply of training kits and its hold on the stadium name.
Financial terms remain undisclosed. By SportsPro’s estimate the new deal could be worth up to £70 million (€82m) per season, up from its estimate of the previous deal: up to £50 million (€58m) per season. Footy Headlines, citing unnamed sources, offers a more granular estimate: £65 million (€76m) a season for 2026/27 and 2027/28, £75 million (€88m) a season from 2028/29 through 2032/33. The Stadium Business estimates the outgoing deal’s value at £45 million (€53m) per season.
Footy Headlines cites in addition a rumor that Arsenal’s shirts will drop the “Fly Better” tagline and carry only the Emirates name as of 2027/28.
The club and airline alike call their deal the Premier League’s longest-running front-of-shirt partnership. It dates to 2006, when Arsenal moved into freshly built Emirates Stadium.
The announcement follows Arsenal’s accession as the Premier League’s champion, for the first time in 22 years.
