K-Swiss, the footwear, apparel and accessories brand, has secured a multi-year deal to supply the Official Footwear to the ATP. It will be shoeing umpires, physical therapists (presumably the tour’s own), “key officials” and “players without an existing footwear sponsor who wish to compete in K-Swiss.”
In addition, the brand will be designing a collection of five tennis shoes under the ATP brand. These are to be sold to the public worldwide through K-Swiss, the ATP’s online store and new stores at certain tournaments. K-Swiss and ATP will otherwise be collaborating on “retail, marketing and digital initiatives.”
Among its many sponsorships, ATP has an apparel deal of long standing with Lacoste. Until at least 2025 it had a deal for racquet-sports products with the retailer Tennis-Point. Last August it struck a deal for a limited-edition capsule with Palmes Tennis Society, a small, Danish menswear label founded in 2021.
K-Swiss, for its part, sponsored the inaugural Pickleball Slam (2023) and was for about three years the footwear and run-course sponsor of Ironman / World Triathlon. It is the current sponsor of tennis players Andrey Rublev, Tomás Martín Etcheverry, Zhizhen Zhang and Thiago Agustín Tirante.
About K-Swiss
K-Swiss was founded in Los Angeles in 1966 by two Swiss-born brothers, Art and Ernie Brunner. It was sold in 2013 to the Korean firm E-Land World and acquired Supra Footwear in 2015. Xtep International, of China, bought K-Swiss in 2019 and placed it under a new holding company, KP Global Investment, which Xtep divested in 2024. KP Global is now private, headquartered in Glendale, California, and under the control of Ding Shui Po, who is separately Chairman and CEO of Xtep.
The P in KP stands for the French footwear brand Palladium, which K-Swiss acquired in 2001.
