
Just in time for the restart of the trade show season, ISPO organizer Messe München has established a new central division, “Product Marketing and Sales.” The newly structured unit is to bring together the marketing and sales competencies of the two disciplines under one management. The head of the new central division will be Dr. Markus Dirr, previously head of digital. The new team will be responsible for acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customer contacts for all Messe München events at the home venue, including ISPO Munich and OutDoor by ISPO. In addition, the division will cooperate with Messe München’s international subsidiaries in product marketing and sales. A key task of the new central division will be to further drive the acceleration of digitalization and automatization in marketing and sales and to merge them together.
