Matrix Fitness generated worldwide revenues of €466 million in 2018, an increase of 21 percent from the previous year. The company's sales in the U.S. were particularly strong, growing by 26 percent for the year and by 40 percent in the fourth quarter. Matrix Fitness is the commercial brand of Johnson Health Tech (JHT), the Taiwanese manufacturer of fitness equipment, massage chairs, billiard supplies and other products in certain markets under such brands as Bowflex, NordicTrack and Horizon. According to JHT, the results for 2018 have made Matrix into the world's fastest growing fitness equipment brand. Matrix, which has 26 subsidiaries worldwide, has made a concerted effort to expand internationally, investing in product development, partnerships, new technology and global marketing. In 2018, the company launched some 30 products, including the Ultra Series of gym machines, with optional Intelligent Training Consoles; the S-Force Performance elliptical machine, winner of the Ispo Gold Award in 2018; and stationary bicycles.
