Matthieu Bazil has taken over as chief executive officer at Aqua Lung. The new CEO comes with experience from Fox Racing, Oxbow and Boardriders, with leadership roles at DC Shoes and Quiksilver and key account management at Adidas. Based at the watersports equipment maker's offices in Carros, France, the self-professed watersports enthusiast will continue to grow the company's scuba, swim, snorkel, and recreational paddlesport products. The group has a long-standing partnership with the famous swimmer Michael Phelps and with the ocean explorers Philippe and Ashlan Cousteau.
