Maxgear is the new exclusive U.K. distributor for Champion System, an American teamwear brand. Maxgear, based in Cheshire, is an online retailer of cycle accessories and compression clothing, selling under the brand name MAX. It was started last January by Ciaran Dunne, 37, formerly head of international finance at Umbro; and Wayne Greenhalgh, 38, a freelance design consultant; along with two partners who wanted to keep a low profile.
