Maxim Ignatiev, who recently sold the distribution of Reebok in Russia and the other CIS countries to Adidas, is adding two more full-line fitness clubs in St. Petersburg this month and in Moscow in November, building the network to 7 clubs, each with about 3,000 members. Further growth is projected in future years. On the other hand the Russian executive is discussing and negotiating other distribution deals for sports and casual brands in Russia. The distribution of Gant is being expanded at wholesale and retail, with the number of stores set to reach 17 by the end of this year.
