Melody Harris-Jensbach is returning to Esprit in the new position of chief product and design officer, effective immediately. She previously worked for Esprit in various senior management roles between 1998 and 2007. Ronald van der Vis, the new chief executive of the company, said that her product and design strategy had been instrumental to its successful development until then. Things went worse in effect for Esprit after she left to work for Puma as deputy chief executive and chief product officer from 2008.
