MEP Tomasz Frankowski, Co-Chair of the Sports Group in the European Parliament, has thrown his support behind the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI) Manifesto for the upcoming EU elections. FESI, in a statement, emphasized that this endorsement “underscores the alignment between FESI’s vision and the crucial work being done in the European Parliament to promote healthy lifestyles and inclusivity in sports.”
In its manifesto, FESI advocates for the establishment of more inclusive sports environments and ensuring access to safe sports infrastructure for all individuals. The federation aims to address disparities in sports participation and foster an environment where everyone, regardless of background or ability, can engage in physical activity safely and inclusively. This initiative reflects a broader commitment to promoting health and well-being across European communities through sports and recreation.
MEP Frankowski’s support reinforces the importance of collaborative efforts between policymakers and industry stakeholders to advance initiatives that promote active lifestyles and enhance opportunities for participation in sports throughout the European Union.
