Michael A. Clarke has joined Quiksilver's board of directors, which has been expanded for this purpose from eight to nine members. He acted as chief executive of Premier Foods in the U.K. from August 2011 until last February. Prior to that, among other positions, he worked at Reebok in the early 1990s, ran Coca-Cola's operations in Northwest Europe, the South Pacific and Korea, and then ran Kraft Foods in Europe. He also worked at Acer Consulting and Deloitte. Like other members of Quiksilver's board, Clarke will be given stock options as part of his compensation.
