Michael Millenacker has returned to Royal Robbins as its new chief executive, starting immediately and replacing Bob Orlando. He will also serve on the board directors of BRS Outdoor Holdings, owner of Royal Robbins, which is looking at new acquisitions (more on this and on the company in the next The Outdoor Industry Compass). Millenacker acted as marketing director at Royal Robbins from 1994 to 2000, when he joined Eagle Creek as sales director, rising to the position of president of the brand in 2008. Three years later he became vice president of sales at The North Face. He spent the last year as general U.S. manager for Fox Head.
