Mike Weccardt remains as the only general manager of Sport Eybl & Sports Experts, the Austrian sporting goods retailer that fell under the control of Sports Direct International last May. The founding Eybl family, which still holds 49 percent of the shares, has no longer an influence on the operations following the resignation of Catrin Aschenwald-Eybl, which was sitting on the executive board along with Weccardt. The family is still represented on the supervisory board through Lorin Leitner, but Sports Direct is represented by three directors.
