Mitre Sports will again be selling apparel after a 7-year hiatus. The company recently announced 4-year partnerships with Ipswich Town FC and Huddersfield Town FC, through which the British sports brand will provide home and away uniforms, as well as training apparel, until May 2011. The agreements follow Mitre’s investment in a new apparel team led by Paul Tudor, who comes to the company from JD Sports, where he was apparel manager for the company’s Mackenzie brand. Pentland Group owns Mitre and has a controlling stake in JD Sports.
