Mizuno is partnering with Swedish ingredient brand Polygiene from July 2021, targeting the growing demand for durable and high-performance activewear in the Chinese market. Several Mizuno China products, including sweaters, sweatpants and down jackets, will feature Polygiene Biostatic Stays Fresh technology starting with the Fall/Winter 2021/22 collection.
Mizuno China designs and manufactures products for a range of sports, including running, soccer and many indoor sports, as well as lifestyle products. The use of Polygiene technology is expected to expand the versatility of the products. Mizuno operates 13 offices in Asia alone and has a global organizational structure that is a mix of overseas offices and subsidiaries, as well as a network of distributors. A newly established Mizuno Europe B.V. (a wholly-owned Mizuno subsidiary) began operations in Rotterdam earlier this year.
