Moncler has announced the departure of its general manager, Monica Sottana, for personal reasons, effective January 2015. The executive will continue to collaborate with the brand as a consultant “on important projects for the group's business,” the group said. Remo Ruffini, Moncler's chief executive, will serve as interim manager until the appointment of a new general manager. In addition, Pietro Ruffini, Remo's son, is leaving the board of directors. Also, Alessandro Benetton is giving up some of his roles, including president of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and member of the Control and Risk Committee, as well as his role as Lead Independent Director, which will be taken over by Gabriele Galateri di Genola. Benetton will remain a member of the board of directors. Diva Moriani has been appointed by co-optation as a new independent director. She will replace Alessandro Benetton as an independent member of the Control and Risks Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Moriani will also replace Benetton as chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
