Monique Matheson, a woman who has spent 19 years at Nike in various roles, has been promoted to the position of executive vice president in charge of global human resources. Reporting directly to Mark Parker, chairman, president and chief executive of Nike, she is replacing David Ayre who will retire after more than ten years in the post. Most recently, Matheson served as vice president and “chief talent and diversity officer.” She previously handled human resources in North America, global product creation, global finance and Nike affiliates.
