More and more companies are telling us that they have won an Ispo Gold Award or a simple Ispo Award ahead of the Ispo Munich fair. As there are so many of them, we have decided to focus on some of those that have reported winning more than one prize. For example, Black Yak, which has invested heavily to make its sports apparel line more adapted to the European market, has this time won no less than 11 Ispo Awards, including eight Gold Awards. Ortovox has received four Ispo Awards including that of Product of the Year for its avalanche airbag system. Tecnica Group says it has won for the first time three Ispo Gold Awards, one for the revolutionary infrared customization system of its Nordica Speedmachine 130 ski boots and the two others for a Tecnica touring ski and a Blizzard ski. Merrell got two Gold Awards, one for a Capra shoe with the Vibram Arctic Grip sole that it is using exclusively for the next season and the other for its sponsorship of the “Tough Mudder” competition in the U.S. Dynafit has won two awards, one for a ski touring boot and the other for a lightweight, insulated jacket with carbon particles. Poc earned two awards for ski protection. Globe won two awards for a mini-cruiser skateboard with integrated speaker and one of its longboards. The winners of the Ispo Award will be displayed in Hall B1. They were chosen by a jury from 535 applications.
