More than 100 workers in Cambodian factories supplying Adidas and Puma fainted at work at the end of March after being overcome by fumes, possibly related to poor or absent ventilation systems. The episode, as reported by police and workers to Reuters, involved 118 employees at the Shen Zhou and Daqian Textile factories in Phnom Penh. Puma and Adidas said they were investigating. According to the Community Legal Education Center, a local labor rights NGO, more than 200 workers fainted in Cambodian factories the same week.
