Mountain Force, the Swiss marketer of snow sports and other apparel, has hired Mike Stöhr as a new international sales director. The 44-year-old is a veteran of Peak Performance where he served as country manager for Germany and Austria recently. Stöhr's appointment comes along with a split of responsibilities in the sales team: His predecessor, Sabine Weissbacher, will remain in the company and fill the newly created position of international sales director for the “Studio Collection.” Starting with the winter 2013-14 season, Mountain Force will market the “Studio Collection” as its own fashionable and functional lifestyle apparel which is meant to be a cross-over between ski wear and urban fashion apparel. Additionally, Weissbacher will assist Stöhr with selling the snow wear collection in various markets such as the U.K., France, Spain, Italy, Russia and Asia.
