Moving ahead with the reorganization of its Benelux management, Adidas has appointed Marco Kunz country sales manager for the Netherlands. Taking up this new position with immediate effect, Kunz supervises sales of both the Adidas and Reebok brands, in line with the integration implemented by the group in other European countries in the last months. Kunz has been with Adidas Benelux for the last 12 years, most recently in charge of Dutch key accounts for the Adidas brand. He previously worked for Salomon and had a career as an international water polo player, taking part in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and earning multiple Dutch championship titles with his club in Amersfoort. The appointment of Kunz comes just a few weeks after Paul Boerboom became general manager of the Adidas group in the Benelux countries. On the marketing side, Frank Basters is in charge of all ranges of the Adidas brand throughout the Benelux countries, while there is still a vacancy for Reebok’s marketing operations.
