Muuvr, the newly launched fitness app, has named former pro triathlete Jan van Berkel as European Business Development Manager. In his new role, he will work across both business development and partnerships. Van Berkel is a four-time winner of Ironman Switzerland.
Muuvr was launched to the public in early October. The app, available to download on both iOS and Android devices, analyzes users’ fitness activities via connections to their favorite fitness tracking tools and rewards them with points, the so-called “Muuvs,” which can be redeemed in the Muuvr Marketplace for sporting goods and services from a range of reward partners.
In addition to developing Muuvr’s general brand partnerships across Europe, van Berkel will work to bolster the choice of sports goods and services that athletes will be able to redeem in the Muuvr Marketplace.
